Russian Hackers have 5 Million Gmail Usernames and Passwords Online for all to see.

Rather than a compromise of Google’s servers, the Russian tech blog Habrahabr suggests that the leaked Gmail addresses and passwords were most likely compiled through phishing scams, use of weak passwords and other common compromises.

The good news is that even if your Gmail address is on the list, the password may be too old to merit much concern, this said, it’s still wise to be cautious and change the password of any Google account you may have.

The site https://isleaked.com have released a handy tool that will check to see if your Google account may have been effected.
